In receiving the Award, His Highness took the opportunity to explain the work of the Aga Khan Development Network and in particular the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED). Other recipients were, Dalil Boubakeur, Rector of the Muslim Institute at the Grand Mosque of Paris, who received the “Régulateur de l’année” Award, and de Nicolas Travenost, Chairman of the Board of the French Television network M6, who received the award, “Manager de l’année”.
